backup/target-machine-uuid

Location where backup archives (tarballs) will be stored

This parameter stores the UUID of the target machine on the downstream endpoint that this backup runner machine is associated with. Each backup runner machine corresponds to exactly one target machine on the downstream endpoint.

For single endpoint deployments, there will be one target machine and one backup runner machine. For HA cluster deployments, there will be one target machine per node and one backup runner machine per target machine, creating a 1:1 mapping.

This parameter establishes the relationship between backup runner machines on the backup server and the actual machines on the target endpoint that will execute restore operations.

This parameter is automatically set by the setup-restore-agents task and should not be modified manually.
