supermicro-manager-archive¶
The tarball of Supermicro Automation Assistant that you want to install.
Supermicro systems are configured in-band via the saa
command.
This parameter specifies the name of the archive that contains the version
of the Supermicro Automation Assistant (SAA) to install in the Sledgehammer
environment for in-band BIOS configuration management and firmware updates.
The archive should be available in the DRP files/hw_repo directory and contain the SAA binary and its dependencies.
Legacy Support: You can also specify a legacy Supermicro Update Manager (SUM) tarball to enable BIOS configuration management on older Supermicro systems. However, firmware flash management requires features only available in SAA, so using legacy SUM will limit the system's ability to manage firmware updates.
Example: saa_1.3.0_Linux_x86_64_20241227.tar.gz
