image-builder-cleanup¶
Post provisioning cleanup tasks for image-builder
This task calls the image-builder-cleanup.sh.tmpl Tempalte, which does
post-provisioning cleanup of the built image, prior to creating a root
filesystem tarball. Some of the actions performed include:
- Perform package manager clean operations
- remove rescue kernels/initrds from the image
- zero out log files in
/var/log - empty the RackN
/etc/drpclifile - wipe contents of
/etc/resolv.conf - remove shell history
Please review the template carefully to insure the actions performed in the template are consistent with the documentation above, and are indeed the actions you want performed on your image.
